getting older.

judah turns 3 this week and i can't believe how much he's grown this past year.

his two's were by no means terrible as i watched my little guy blossom from a scared and timid boy to an animated, funny and caring brother and friend.

i'm proud to have a boy who is rough and rugged, sweet and compassionate, caring and self sufficient.

who tries to get his brother to pee on the potty "like a big boy" just like he does,

who asks if he can "pet" the baby that's growing in my belly and to "speak to it softly, and not to yell at it because that would scare the baby",

who alternates playing with hot wheels, air planes, and boats all.day.long,

who asks to pray when he is scared and talks about jesus like he's his best friend,

who is meticulous and follows the rules and gets nervous because his brother is not that way.
